La Grand Vallee is in Central Brittany about 40 minutes west of Rennes. Just over an hour away, the nearest port is St Malo. It's also the most expensive.

You can pay anything from £50 to £500 to take your car across the channel. Sailing into Calais or Boulogne is a lot cheaper than the western channel sailings. But, it's no frills shuttles versus overnight cruise ferries. Followed by a 5 or 6 hour drive. Your call. Arrive tired and stressed from the journey - expect no sympathy.

We can generally organise your ferry on the western channel or via Dover cheaper than you can. But, ferry operators and routes change on an annual basis so it's worth looking on the Web for special offers.
