Jez and Paul (me), of Redmill, are prepared to stake our (possibly flakey) reputations on anglers loving Le Monument.

Stocked it in 2006. Lovely 5 acre lake just down the road. We assumed Mark was doing well. Didn't sit down and have a real chat with him until last xmas. Found out that his daughter had contracted leukaemia in 2007 and he's been too preoccupied to promote the fishing. Thankfully, his daughter is responding to treatment and he’s ready for anglers.

We've had a lone angler the end of March and 2 groups since. The Lone Ranger has been back already. One group is coming back August 21st, the other early September. October 2nd has been booked by a mate of the lads who fished in April. Best form of advertising ;-)
