The fish are in excellent condition and the lake is well maintained. The few rules we have are designed to keep it that way.

3 rods maximum.
Rods must not be left unattended.
Hooks must be barbless or micro-barb. NO curved long-shank hooks to be used.
No leadcore.
No braided mainline except on marker/spod rods.
Rigs must be designed to drop the lead in the event of mainline breaking.
LARGE unhooking mats are compulsory.
Non-fishing guests are allowed, but the fishery is not suitable for young children.

NO open barbecues due to fire risk.
NO litter - bin bags are provided.

Bait boats ARE allowed, if used with courtesy.

There is a boat on the lake for anglers to use in the event of a snagged fish.
